Create a mobile web application to manage fly egg production for operators and supervisors at the new Innovafeed plant..
Innovafeed is a French Tech 2030 biotech unicorn specializing in insect breeding for animal and plant feed. Innovafeed is the world leader in insect production.
For the development of its second production site in France, Innovafeed called on exFabrica to create the business application used by operators and supervisors in the new vertical egg production plant. This web application manages the complete cycle from caging to egg collection.
The application is used on mobile by operators and on desktop by supervisors. It features 25 screens and RFID and QR Code scanning functions.

Technical proposal
We developed a web application (Mobile First) taking into account the technical capabilities of Innovafeed's Dev and Infra teams in terms of technical management, based on an n-tier architecture.
Our approach included front-end development in VueJS for a responsive, user-friendly interface, and back-end development in .NET Core MVC to manage the business logic (API) and communication with the SQL Server database.
In the absence of an infra-technical team at Innovafeed, we opted for an entirely cloud-based solution for hosting, deployment and maintenance of the application and database, guaranteeing optimum flexibility and scalability.
We integrated cloud monitoring solutions to monitor application performance and health in real time, while reinforcing security to protect data and prevent potential attacks.
In addition, we established a reversibility plan to facilitate the transition to their in-house development team, including full documentation of architecture, code and operating procedures.
